What happened to Nachiketa?

After waiting for three days; Nachiketa; the inquisitive questioner received three boons from Yama; which included the secret of what happens after death. Initially reluctant; Yama explained the nature of the self(Atman) and what the truly wise desire in the Katha Upanishad.

Listening to transcendental wisdom from a god himself; Nachiketa was freed from the cycle of birth and death(attained moksha).
